Zachary's class went to the Capilano Hatchery.
The Capilano Hatchery was built after the Cleveland Dam prevented the salmon from reaching their spawning grounds.
Looking northward from the top of the dam, The Lions can be seen over the reservoir.
Because the hike to the dam went quickly, there was an extra long lunch hour for playing games.
At the hatchery there were almost 2 million salmon.
