A few members of Division 5 pose for a snapshot at the Pacific Space Centre entrance.
Inside, we watched the "A Day in Space" presentation. We learned that it is difficult to do many things in space because everything floats.
The capsule at the left has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. All the "rooms" have special features to prevent objects from floating.
I don't have any pictures from the full motion simulator ride. Let's just say it evoked a lot of screams and everyone wanted to go again.
The last show of our trip was in the planetarium. The parents remembered watching similar shows on their school field trips. Which, according to the operator, were about 250 years ago.
