This year's major summer vacation was a trip to Elbow, Saskatchewan for the 2009 Beaverlodge Golf Tournament.
Our first night was spent in Revelstoke, where we were treated to an evening thunderstorm. The next day we had a long drive to Tillebrooke Park near Brooks, Alberta.
We spent 2 nights at Tillebrooke so we could go to Dinosaur Provincial Park.
One more day of driving brought us to Elbow for the 2009 Beaverlodge.
After leaving Elbow, we went south to Cypress Hills Provincial Park for 2 nights. It is the highest point in the Canadian prairies and is home of the Saskatchewan Summer Star Party.
We stopped in Calgary to visit Kristiana, Joe, Anna, and Nathan. Alison was on an extended stay at her grandparents.
The next night saw us in Edmonton to see Bonnie and John's new house.
And then it was time to head home. We spent 1 night at Miette Hot Springs and 1 night in the Kamloops Wal-Mart parking lot.
Oh, and did I mention we lost Rebecca in Calgary? She was kidnapped by Kevan and Corinne for a trip to Brandon, Manitoba.
